Fifteen years ago, nestled in the heart of Houston, Pia embarked on a mission fueled by compassion and a deep-seated desire to make a difference in the lives of seniors. With over 15 years of personal caregiving experience under her belt, she saw an opportunity to expand her impact beyond individual care. Thus, Advent Caregivers was born.
From its humble beginnings in Houston, Advent Caregivers quickly became a beacon of hope for seniors and their families seeking quality home care services. The foundation of the agency was built on Pia’s firsthand understanding of the needs and challenges faced by seniors, coupled with a commitment to provide not just care, but companionship and dignity.
In the early years, Pia’s husband, Alex, brought his extensive 20 years of experience in the medical field to the forefront, becoming her indispensable partner in realizing their shared vision. Together, they navigated the complexities of starting and growing a caregiving agency, all while maintaining a personal touch that resonated deeply with their clients.
Driven by the belief that a smile is contagious and that every interaction holds the potential to brighten someone’s day, Pia has fostered a culture of warmth and positivity within Advent Caregivers She finds joy in seeing the smiles of both clients and caregivers alike, knowing that each smile is a testament to the meaningful connections being forged under her care.
After a successful tenure in Houston, Pia and Alex made the pivotal decision to relocate their agency to Washington, where they continued their mission to serve seniors with unwavering dedication. The move not only expanded their geographic reach but also deepened their commitment to community-centric care.
Today, Advent Caregivers stands as a testament to Pia’s steadfast belief in the power of compassionate caregiving. Through her leadership and the support of her husband, Advent Caregivers has grown into a trusted pillar of the community, enriching the lives of seniors and their families one smile at a time.

Our mission and vision
Advent Caregivers is committed to providing high-quality health care services to individual clients and their families, as well as to other healthcare organizations in need of supplemental staffing (such as certified home health and hospice agencies, health plans, hospitals, nursing homes and assisted living facilities).
Our priority is to provide state-of-the-art and compassionate in-home care from highly-trained medical professionals and aides. To make good on this promise, proper training is paramount. Not only do we hire the most experienced personnel, but we provide them with in-depth disease-specific training so that they can deliver specialized care to our clients.
At Advent Caregivers, we believe everyone should have the opportunity to live a healthy, active and fulfilling life. This ethos is at the heart of everything we do.
We provide everyone we support with the opportunity to continue to live life to the full. We actively encourage Service Users to become more self-reliant, to make decisions for themselves, and ultimately, to move on to more independent living arrangements.
We facilitate and support our Service Users to pursue meaningful and personalised lifestyles. We provide individually planned education & leisure opportunities to support each individual in their ongoing development.
